Red Roof Inn Ames

We had a spacious Double Room with Two Double Beds, perfect for our large family. The kids loved the nearby Honey Creek Golf Club where we spent some time together golfing. The staff was accommodating and allowed us a later check-out for a small fee.

My wife says that the pool needed better supervision for kids, especially since it was often crowded.

Booked an a double room with climate control, cable channels and a writing table. The most important was the staff - kind and pleasant people. The location was particularly good - a few steps away from everywhere we wanted to go: )

I stayed for a night and appreciated the clean room and decent breakfast options that helped me quickly refuel before my trip. However, I did notice some stains in the tub that were a bit off-putting.

Good location, but needs some work

So, I stayed there for a night and the location was perfect! The breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the staff was super friendly. But honestly, the room I got had a strong smell of smoke, and that was pretty off-putting. It definitely reminded me of the place could use a good cleaning.
